Tropical Storm Grace moving across eastern Atlantic

MIAMI -- Tropical Storm Grace is moving westward across the far eastern Atlantic where it poses no immediate threat to land.

The U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami says the storm has maximum sustained winds near 50 mph.

International Space Station astronaut Scott Kelly captured this amazing image of Grace developing over the far Eastern Atlantic:

Late Sunday it was centered about 600 miles west-southwest of the Cape Verde Islands. Grace is moving west at 15 mph and expected to continue in that same general direction with a slight increase in forward speed over the next 48 hours.

There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect from the seventh named tropical storm of the Atlantic season.
