Tracy Morgan released from rehab center after N.J. crash

Comedian Tracy Morgan has been released from a rehabilitation center after suffering multiple injuries in a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike, his publicist said Saturday.

Morgan, the former "Saturday Night Live" and "30 Rock" star, suffered a broken leg and broken ribs in the June 7 crash. The wreck killed 62-year-old comedian James McNair of Peekskill, New York, who went by the name Jimmy Mack.

Morgan's publicist, Lewis Kay, said in a statement to CBS News that he would "continue his recovery efforts at home with an aggressive outpatient program."

"He asked me to pass along his sincerest gratitude to everyone who has helped him get to this point," said Kay. "He would also appreciate some privacy during this crucial point in his recovery."

Kay confirmed that Morgan is suing Wal-Mart over the crash but wouldn't comment further. The lawsuit, filed Thursday in U.S. District Court in New Jersey, claims Wal-Mart was negligent when a driver of one of its tractor-trailers rammed into Morgan's limousine van.
