Stalemate
Republicans forced a vote in the wee hours this morning to effectively end a virtually unprecedented sit-in on the House floor by Democrats demanding votes on gun control measures. Democrats denounced the Republicans' strategy as "cowardly," and are vowing to continue the fight when Congress reconvenes.
Rubio's return
Florida Senator Marco Rubio says he'll run to keep his Senate seat after months of continually dismissing the idea. The news was welcomed by many Republicans worried about keeping their majority, but Rubio faces several big challenges in what could arguably be the highest-profile Senate race in the country.
Blue on Blue
Kamala Harris, California's Democratic attorney general, came in first in the Golden State's senate primary earlier this month and is advancing to the general election. But unlike every other senate race in the country, she won't be facing off against a Republican in November, but a fellow Democrat.
In or out
After weeks of bitter mud-slinging by campaigns on both sides of the debate, thousands of Britons are heading to the polls today to cast their votes in the European Union membership referendum. Will Britain remain part of the biggest, most prosperous trading block in the world, or will it risk becoming an ineffective small country on the fringes of it?
High stakes
Much is riding on today's referendum in the U.K. over whether the country should leave the European Union, with experts saying a so-called Brexit could shake financial markets and cause political turmoil. With the vote too close to call, we explore the issues at the heart of the debate.
Dramatic rescue
Two Americans who became sick at the South Pole have made it safely out of Antarctica to a clinic in southern Chile. They endured two long flights, first from one of the most inhospitable places on Earth and another to get them off the continent. We see what it took to complete the daring rescue mission.
Auto recall sales
Are dealerships and used car lots selling used cars with issues so dangerous they've been recalled? And if they are, how would you know? "CBS This Morning" goes undercover to see what salespeople would tell buyers about models with lingering safety recalls.
High fliers
First-class seats on international flights could soon be grounded. More airlines are jettisoning their cushiest sections in favor of business-class seats, smelling an opportunity to squeeze more money from their planes.
