Firefighters on the front lines of Western wildfires will soon have more help in battling the unpredictable flames. Nearly 80 blazes are burning in eight states, forcing thousands of people from their homes. Some of the most severe fires are in Washington state. Danielle Nottingham reports from Chelan, Washington, the scene of one of the largest.

Two female soldiers are making history as the first women to graduate from the Army Ranger School. They made it through a grueling two-month training program, with nearly constant physical and mental stress. The Army has not yet released their names.
