"The Fault in Our Stars" bench is back in Amsterdam

So it wasn't sold on eBay, then?

A bench in Amsterdam that went missing after being featured in the film adaptation of "The Fault of Our Stars" is now back in its rightful place.

In the movie, Hazel Grace Lancaster (Shailene Woodley) and Augustus Waters (Ansel Elgort) share a tender moment -- including a kiss -- on that very bench. Last week, it was noticed the bench had disappeared, and officials weren't sure if it was taken away for repairs, removed by neighbors unhappy with the additional tourist traffic or taken by either vandals or "TFIOS" superfans.

But on Monday, the Amsterdam film office tweeted a photo announcing the bench was being reinstalled. The city's film commissioner also confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that it's the same bench seen in the film, and not a replacement.

So, if you're a fan of John Green's book and the movie, you're now free to book your ticket to Amsterdam and recreate your own Gus-Hazel moment. Okay? Okay.
