"The Big Bang Theory" cast sign new deals, production to resume

It's back to work for the cast of "The Big Bang Theory" -- the studio that produces the hit CBS comedy says it has reached contract deals with the sitcom's cast.

"The Big Bang Theory" gets three more years

With negotiations concluded, the comedy will begin production Wednesday for the 2014-15 season, Warner Bros. Television said in a statement Tuesday.

Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco reached agreements for lucrative three-year contracts that trade reports put at about $1 million per episode for each actor. Co-stars Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar also inked new deals that, according to The Hollywood Reporter, give them " sizable raises" from their $100,000 per episode contract. Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch inked new deals back in September.

Work on the eighth season had been delayed due to the contract negotiations. Warner Bros. declined to comment on specifics.

The CBS series about geeky scientist pals and the women who love them was renewed for three more seasons earlier this year. New episodes will air on the network beginning Sept. 22.
