ACM Awards 2015 sets record as most attended awards show

They say everything's bigger in Texas.

This was especially true at this year's Academy of Country Music Awards. According to hosts Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan, the 2015 ACMs set a Guinness World record for the most attended live awards show.

"That's right, tonight, we are the most attended live awards show of all time," Bryan exclaimed. "This is a great night in the history of this academy and the history of country music."

The 50th annual ACMs took place in the Dallas Cowboys' AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, which holds 80,000 people.

The show included performances from George Strait, Reba McEntire, Keith Urban and much more -- all performing to the millions of viewers back home and a football arena-sized audience.

It'll certainly be hard to top come next year!
