Police: Woman found half-naked, alive, in cardboard box

IRVING, Texas - A partially-clothed woman was found in a cardboard box that had been left outside a North Texas landfill, reports CBS DFW.

The woman, whose name has not been released, was alive, but reportedly has no memory of what happened after leaving the Angels Grill and Bar in Dallas, early Saturday morning.

Police said she was intoxicated when she left the bar with a friend, whowent to get a car while an unknown man agreed to stay with the woman. Authorities say both she and the man were gone by the time the friend returned.

A missing persons report had been filed by the time the missing woman awoke in the box near the Irving landfill. Police are still trying to piece together what happened during the hours she was missing.

According to CBS DFW, the woman was taken to a hospital for a rape exam and police are studying security cameras outside the club where she was last seen. They say the woman didn't have any noticeable injuries and the rape exam was inconclusive.
