Teens, possibly armed, sought for questioning in Wash. murder
RIVERSIDE, Wash. -- The Okanogan County sheriff's office says authorities are looking for two possibly armed 16-year-olds in a stolen pickup truck in connection with the murder of a man whose body was found Sunday evening at his home in a tiny town in northern Washington.
The sheriff's office says there was a lot of violence at the Riverside home of 39-year-old Patrick M. Alltus, but wouldn't say how he was killed, reports CBS affiliate KREM. The teens, a girl and a boy, are wanted for questioning in the case, reports the station.
The teens may be armed with a shotgun and pistol. They may be driving a 2004 gray Ford F250 pickup truck, Washington license C90793A.
Authorities said the teenagers both lived at the house were Alltus was found, but were missing as of Sunday night, KREM reports.
The sheriff's office says it's unknown when Alltus was killed. The station says the teens were last seen in Oregon when they were stopped by authorities Oct. 1.
