Teen arrested, another suspect sought in New Mexico murder

ALBUQUERQUE -- New Mexico police say a teen is in custody after a shooting early Sunday morning left one dead, reports CBS affiliate KRQE.

The shooting happened around 5:30 a.m. Sunday and police officials reportedly said that three people were found and transported to a hospital. One victim, 18-year-old Arturo Villa, later died, according to the station.

Esias Madrid, 18, was arrested in the murder of Villa, reported KRQE. Another suspect is reportedly being sought for the shooting and injuring of 17-year-old Jaime Acevez.

Police say an arrest warrant has been issued for 22-year-old Jack Daniel Trujillo and they are looking, according to the station.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call 242-COPS, according to KRQE.
