Target, whiter teeth: Thief steals Crest Strips from retailer

EXTON, Pa. - If you're looking for the thief who struck a Target store in southeastern Pennsylvania last weekend, you might do well to look for someone with a brilliant, if crooked smile.

Police say they're looking for a man accused of stealing nearly $1,000 in teeth whitening strips from the superstore in Exton, Pa., reports CBS Philly.

The theft happened at about 3:45 p.m. on June 15, according to the station, when investigators say the suspect entered the store and loaded numerous bags of Crest White Strips into a trash bag before running out and escaping in a vehicle driven by another male.

Target says the whitening strips were worth $930.

Store officials have reported similar thefts committed by the same man in other stores in Lancaster, Chester, Philadelphia and Montgomery Counties.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the West Whiteland Township Police Department at 610-363-0200 or 610-692-5100.

(Editor's note: Yes, really, West Whiteland Township)
