Tandem skydivers die in Cape Cod crash

A skydiving instructor and student were killed in a jump on Cape Cod Sunday afternoon, CBS Boston reports.

The skydivers, jumping in tandem, crashed into a house on Race Lane in Marstons Mills beyond the intended landing area of a Cape Cod airport, authorities said. The victims were both adults males, according to Massachusetts State Police.

Both of the skydivers were transported to Cape Cod Hospital.

The Federal Aviation Administration and the district attorney's office are also investigating.

The Boston Globe reported that it was not clear if an equipment malfunction was to blame.
