Suspect taunts Md. police on Facebook, gets arrested the next day

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. - Authorities have arrested a 28-year-old Maryland man one day after they say he taunted them on Facebook, reports CBS Baltimore.

Anne Arundel County police said Roger Ray Ireland, of Edgewater, was taken into custody Thursday on an outstanding warrant for violation of probation.

Just a day earlier, Ireland had been profiled on the department's Facebook page as part of its "#WantedWednesday" feature, CBS Baltimore reports. The suspect apparently commented on the thread, posting "Y'all will never catch me..." with his own Facebook profile, referencing his attempts to continue evading authorities.

Following up on some tips, detectives pulled Ireland over during a traffic stop in South Baltimore near the county line the next day. He was taken into custody without incident, according to the station.
