Sunday on Face the Nation: The Roosevelts

(CBS News) - Next Sunday on Face the Nation, we'll sit down with Ken Burns to talk about his new project, The Roosevelts: An Intimate History, a seven-part documentary that will debut Sunday, September 14 on PBS.

We'll examine one of the most prominent families in American Politics with legendary filmmaker Ken Burns, Doris Kearns Goodwin, author of No Ordinary Time: Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt - The Home Front in World War II and The Bully Pulpit: Theodore Roosevelt, William Howard Taft, and the Golden Age of Journalism, and Geoffrey Ward, author of A First-Class Temperament: the Emergence of Franklin Roosevelt, and writer for the new PBS documentary.

What qualities made the Roosevelts so influential? Could Franklin Roosevelt be elected today? There's so much to discuss about this family who has captured the interest of the public for generations. Hope you'll join us.
