Sunday: Marco Rubio, the "Brexit," and new 2016 polls

Amid the intense focus on the 2016 election, a shocking development from across the pond this week: United Kingdom voters decided to pull their country out of the European Union. What could the referendum result mean for the global economy, the United States, and the 2016 election? We'll break it down Sunday on "Face the Nation."

We'll talk with Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, who announced earlier this week that he's seeking reelection to his Senate seat, reversing an earlier pledge to not seek another term. Why did Rubio change course? How does he feel about running with Donald Trump atop the GOP ticket? And what does he make of the Supreme Court's decision this week to overturn one of President Obama's signature immigration policies?

We'll examine the effects of the U.K.'s vote to leave the E.U. with an expert economic panel, including Mark Zandi of Moody's Analytics, Time Magazine's Rana Foroohar, the Economist's David Rennie, and David Ignatius of the Washington Post.

We'll have some new Battleground Tracker poll numbers on the race between Hillary Clinton and Trump, along with some other issues, in the key swing states of Florida, Wisconsin, Colorado, and North Carolina. CBS News Elections Director Anthony Salvanto will join us to help us examine the data.

As always, we'll break down the busy news week with an expert political panel. This Sunday, we'll hear from Wall Street Journal columnist and CBS News contributor Peggy Noonan, PBS' Tavis Smiley, USA Today's Susan Page, and the New York Times Magazine's Mark Leibovich.

Finally, we'll talk with Maya MacGuineas of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget about the potential fiscal impact of the proposals from Clinton and Trump. Do their numbers add up? And what more do we need to hear from the candidates?

It's going to be an exciting broadcast, so make sure you tune in! Check your local listings for airtimes.
