Sunday: Joe Biden, Mike Pence, and new 2016 polls

As one administration approaches the exit, two campaigns are vying to take its place – this Sunday on Face the Nation, we’ll hear from the departing vice-president, and one of the men hoping to succeed him, as the 2016 election enters the home stretch.

We’ll bring you a wide-ranging interview with Vice President Joe Biden in his ceremonial office in Washington. Tune in to get Biden’s take on Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, his decades in public life, and what the future may hold for him.

We’ll also talk with the Republican vice presidential nominee, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, about how he and Donald Trump are spending their final full week on the campaign trail. Can the GOP ticket close the gap with Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine? What’s their closing argument?

We’ll have some new CBS News Battleground Tracker polls on the state of the race in Colorado, Arizona, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. CBS News Elections Director Anthony Salvanto will be on hand to help us dissect the results.

And as always, we’ll convene an expert political panel to break down the busy news week. This Sunday, we’ll be joined by USA Today’s Susan Page, the Federalist’s Ben Domenech, the New York Times’ Patrick Healy, and the Cook Political Report’s Amy Walter.

It’s going to be an exciting broadcast, so make sure you tune in! Check your local listings for airtimes.
