Sunday: Jeff Flake, Tom Cotton, and new 2016 polls

As Donald Trump's presidential campaign lurches from crisis to crisis, what are Republicans - and Democrats - going to do about it? This Sunday on Face the Nation, we'll examine where the race for the White House stands.

We'll talk with Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake, a Republican who's not endorsed Trump's candidacy. Given the mounting controversy surrounding the Republican nominee, does Flake feel vindicated in withholding his support? And does he see any other Republicans jumping ship before November?

We'll also talk with Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton, a Republican who's endorsed Trump but has at times parted from the GOP nominee. Is he worried Trump's sliding poll numbers will consign Republicans to defeat in November? What kind of future does he envision for the Republican Party? And does he think the recent payment to Iran gives the GOP an opening on national security?

We'll have new CBS News Battleground Tracker polls to tell us where the race between Clinton and Trump stands in Nevada, Virginia, and Arizona. CBS News Elections Director Anthony Salvanto and Ron Brownstein, the editorial director at The Atlantic, will be on hand to help us break down the numbers.

We'll talk with the Washington Post's David Ignatius about some recent global developments, including the U.S. payment to Iran and how the 2016 election may impact America's relationships overseas.

And as always, we'll bring together an expert political panel to help us spot some order amid the chaos. This week, we'll hear from Brownstein, USA Today's Susan Page, Time Magazine's Michael Duffy, and the Washington Post's Ed O'Keefe. It's going to be an exciting broadcast, so make sure you tune in!
