"Stranger Things" gets a second season renewal from Netflix

Fans hungry for more “Stranger Things” are in luck.

Netflix announced Wednesday that it has officially picked up the hit supernatural series for a second season after the show dominated the summer’s pop culture landscape. 

Not only did the streaming service announce that another season is on the way -- sometime in 2017 -- but it also revealed what appear to be nine new episode titles, giving tantalizing hints at where the story is headed. 

The new titles include “Madmax,” “The Boy Who Came Back to Life,” “The Pumpkin Patch,” “The Palace,” “The Storm,” “The Pollywog,” “The Secret Cabin,” “The Brain” and “The Lost Brother.” 

According to the tease, the new season will take place in the summer of 1984 and will continue the story of season one.
