Stars praise Kathy Griffin's "Fashion Police" exit
Stars are praising Kathy Griffin for parting ways with "Fashion Police" after just seven episodes.
In a tweet, Griffin said her style didn't match up with the E! show's "creative direction."
"There is plenty to make fun of in pop culture without bringing people's bodies into it. ... I do not want to use my comedy to contribute to a culture of unattainable perfectionism and intolerance towards difference," she wrote.
Her move comes on the heels of controversy surrounding co-host Giuliana Rancic's red-carpet criticism of singer-actress Zendaya's dreadlocks.
