"Sons of Anarchy" poster for final season unveiled
Charlie Hunnam is sporting some major new ink in a recently-unveiled poster for the seventh and final season of "Sons of Anarchy."
The promo art definitely carries with it a sense of foreboding, as Hunnam's character Jax Teller shows off a large image of a skull on his back, in place of the signature "Sons" Grim Reaper tattoo he's had throughout the entirety of the series.
The ominous clouds in the background certainly don't help to paint a rosy picture of the future for Teller and his motley gang of bikers. Season 7 of the hit FX drama series will pick up following the death of Teller's wife, Tara (Maggie Siff), at the hands of his mother, Gemma (Katey Sagal.)

It seems showrunner Kurt Sutter wants the series to go out with a bang, as several high-profile guest stars are lined up to appear in the final season -- including Courtney Love, Marilyn Manson and Lea Michele.
Last week, the "Glee" actress told her Twitter followers that it was "incredible" getting to work with Sagal:
Such an amazing day at @SonsofAnarchy... Working with @KateySagal was so incredible. #SOAFX

Cast member Theo Rossi, who plays the conflicted "Juice," has said that all bets are off in the end.
"I advise everyone to buy a couch that is equipped with a seatbelt for the final season," Rossi wrote on Twitter in June.
Hunnam and several of his co-stars recently had to miss out on the fun at this year's Comic-Con in San Diego because they are still completing the final episodes of "Sons." Instead they sent this message from the set to their fans, as Hunnam hilariously tried to get a proper massage from Mark Boone Junior:
The final season of "Sons of Anarchy" premieres Tues., Sept. 9 at 10 p.m. ET on FX.
