Shooting at senior living facility in Kentucky

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A shooting at a senior living facility in Louisville, Kentucky, left a man in his 80s dead and his wife wounded Saturday in what the police believe was a domestic dispute.

Louisville police spokeswoman Alicia Smiley told CBS News that the husband allegedly shot his wife and then himself in a room they shared at the Elmcroft of Valley Farms senior living facility.

The husband was taken to University of Louisville Hospital where he later died, according to CBS affiliate WLKY-TV.

The wife, also in her 80s, sustained injuries that were not life-threatening, Smiley said. She was being treated at the same hospital.
