Bumbling beer bandits sought in Florida

OAKLAND PARK, Fla. - Surveillance cameras rolled as two men attempted to steal six 12-packs of beer from an Oakland Park, Fla. convenience store. One problem - their hands were full and they had a hard time opening the door, reports CBS Miami.

Deputies said the two resorted to ramming the front door twice but still were unable to open it.

One of them then put down his stolen suds and kicked the door open long enough for the two to run out.

From there, the thieves continued to fall and stumble, causing them to drop several cases of beer and eventually leave one behind.

The two finally staggered back into their car described as a green 1996 Honda with the Florida tag number U394SC.

Authorities are still searching for the men. Anyone with information is urged to call Broward Crimestoppers at (954) 493-TIPS.
