Sandra Bullock stalking suspect due in court

LOS ANGELES -- A man accused of stalking actress Sandra Bullock and breaking into her home in June of 2014 was due in court Thursday, reports CBS LA.

Police say Joshua James Corbett jumped the fence surrounding Bullock's Bel Air Estates home and broke into the house through a locked sun-room door on the first floor.

Bullock, an Oscar winner, reportedly locked herself in a bedroom and contacted police after she woke up to loud banging and saw a man in dark clothing walking through her house.

Corbett was reportedly unarmed but was carrying love letters and magazine cutouts of Bullock, reports the station.

Corbett faced burglary and stalking charges, and he was also reportedly charged with possessing an arsenal of weapons after several firearms, rifles, handguns and ammunition were later located at his home.

Thursday's hearing was set to determine whether there's enough evidence against Corbett to go to trial.
