San Bernardino, Calif. woman reported missing

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding a 22-year-old woman reported missing in San Bernardino, Calif., reports CBS Los Angeles.

Sahray Astina Barber was last seen leaving her home for work around 6 a.m. Monday.

The 22-year-old lives across the street from the Cal State San Bernardino campus. Authorities say that while there are no signs of foul play, her disappearance is alarming given two women were attacked last week on the college's campus, reports the station.

In the first incident, a woman reported a man tried to rape her in a stairwell at the school library before she broke free. In the second incident, campus police said a man grabbed a female student from behind, covered her mouth and told her they were going for a ride. That woman was also able to break free.

No arrests have been made and authorities have said they are unsure whether the same man is behind the two on-campus attacks.

Barber is described as 5-foot-8-inches tall and 125 pounds. She has long red/brown, straight hair and green eyes.

Anyone with information on Barber's whereabouts is urged to contact authorities.
