Robin Roberts to guest judge on "Dancing with the Stars"

She's usually on in the morning, but Robin Roberts is also taking on some night work -- she's set to be a guest judge on "Dancing with the Stars."

The "Good Morning America" anchor will appear on the ABC dancing competition next Monday alongside the regular panelists. She's the first of several guest judges scheduled this season, including Ricky Martin and Redfoo from the band LMFAO.

"Very excited/nervous about being a guest judge next week on #DWTS. If you have any tips..let me know. #Yikes!" she tweeted on Tuesday morning.

Roberts' appearance advances an already tight relationship between the two shows. "GMA" usually gets a ratings boost when contenders from "Dancing with the Stars" appear for interviews, a big help in its own competition with the "Today" show.

"Dancing with the Stars" is currently in its 18th season. On Monday, long-distance swimmer Diana Nyad and former professional hockey player Sean Avery were both sent home during a double-elimination episode.
