Robert Downey Jr. tops Forbes' list of highest-paid Hollywood actors

It seems Robert Downey Jr. matches his on-screen counterpart Tony Stark when it comes to making bank.

The "Iron Man" star has landed at the top of Forbes' list of highest-paid actors for a second year in a row.

Downey is estimated to have made $75 million between June 2013 and June 2014, roughly the same amount he earned during the previous year.

The bulk of the 49-year-old actor's financial success comes from his portrayal of the metallic super-hero in Marvel's "Iron-Man" and "Avengers" films, which have taken in almost $4 billion in worldwide ticket sales.

Former pro wrestler Dwayne Johnson came in at No. 2 on the Forbes list, with an estimated $52 million in earnings. The "Pain and Gain" star plays the title role in this summer's big-budget action flick "Hercules" and he'll also appear in next year's hotly anticipated, "Fast & Furious 7."

Bradley Cooper placed third, bringing in an estimated $46 million over the last year. The "Guardians of the Galaxy" star took home a hefty paycheck from starring in "The Hangover Part III" while also earning a portion of the box office profits from "American Hustle" thanks to a back-end deal.

Leonardo DiCaprio landed at No. 4, who reportedly earned almost $40 million, thanks to the release of money-makers "The Wolf of Wall Street" and "The Great Gatsby."

Another superhero actor rounded at the top five. Downey's "The Avengers" cast mate Chris Hemsworth finds himself on the Forbes list for the first time, after nabbing an estimated $37 million as the star of the "Thor" film series.
