Remains found in Okla. ID'd as missing teen

Remains found last month in a wooded area of western Oklahoma are those of a teen missing for more than a year, the state medical examiner's office confirmed Tuesday, reports CBS affiliate KWTV.

JaRay Wilson, 16, vanished in October of 2012. 19-year-old Tucker McGee was charged Dec. 17 with first-degree murder in connection with her disappearance after human remains were found last month near Weatherford.

The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics reportedly received a tip that led them to the remains and also pointed to the suspect, McGee. The informant told authorities he saw McGee shoot Wilson and bury her body, reports the station.

The medical examiner reportedly confirmed the remains were those of Wilson, but her cause and manner of death have yet to be determined.

Rodney and Jara Wilson, JaRay’s parents, who spent months searching for their daughter, told the station they’ll seek justice for her.

"We spent 14 months trying to find her, we'll spend just that much or more trying to put these people away," said Rodney Wilson.
