"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star arrested for battery

ATLANTA - Reality TV personality Porsha Williams turned herself in to police on a simple battery charge brought by a fellow cast member, reports CBS affiliate WGCL.

The 31-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta star was arrested for her part in an alleged March 27 incident with cast member Kenya Moore during filming at the Biltmore Hotel in Atlanta, according to the station.

Moore called police during filming and claimed that she had been assaulted by Williams, reports WGCL.

Williams turned herself in Wednesday and has since been released on $2,000 bond.
