"Real Housewives" franchise adds two cities

Bravo's hit franchise "The Real Housewives" is coming to two new cities: Potomac, Maryland, and Dallas, Texas.

The Potomac edition of the show will air in January; the town is a tiny suburb with gated mansions and country clubs near Washington, D.C. "The Real Housewives of Potomac" will follow several wealthy African-American families who live in the Potomac community, including socialite and single mom Gizelle Bryant, international model and TV personality Katie Rost, grand dame Karen Huger, social butterfly Charrisse Jackson-Jordan, publicist and single mom Robyn Dixon, as well as restaurateur Ashley Darby.

Haven't heard of Potomac? Well, the housewives don't care.

"If you haven't heard of Potomac, that's fine, because that means we've done a great job of keeping it a nice, little secret," said Bryant in a promotional clip.

Apparently, manners matter in the town.

"If you don't behave yourself in Potomac, you might be asked to leave," said Rost.

The show premieres on Sunday, Jan. 17 at 9 p.m. ET.

"The Real Housewives of Dallas" will debut later next year and Bravo promises that "everything -- including the drama -- is bigger in Texas."
