Police say a flyer with racial slurs was hung outside a dorm room on the campus of Framingham State University, CBS Boston reports.

The station writes that campus police believe the flyer was left outside a room in Larned Hall sometime from 12:30 - 12:55 p.m. on Friday.

No suspects have been located.

Framingham State Police said the incident classifies as a hate crime.

"Framingham State University has zero tolerance for racism in any form and I know our community joins me in condemning this behavior. Framingham State is, and will always be, a community committed to tolerance, diversity, inclusion, and respect toward everyone," said Millie González, interim chief officer of diversity, inclusion and community engagement in a statement.

Anyone with information as asked to call (508) 626-4911.

Gonzalez said if the person involved is a student, they could face expulsion in addition to criminal charges.
