Possible meteor lights up night sky in New England
A possible meteor was spotted streaking through the sky over northern New England Tuesday night, CBS Boston reports. The flash of light was captured on video from a webcam at The Mount Agamenticus Conservation Region in York, Maine.
It happened at 5:52 p.m.
Residents from several neighboring states also reported seeing the streak in the sky.
Social media users quickly posted photos and videos of meteor sightings. The streak of light was spotted from New Hampshire and Massachusetts as well as Maine.
