Police: Two arrested following chase involving stolen U-Haul

LAS VEGAS -- Police say two men in a stolen U-Haul led them on a nighttime chase through Las Vegas.

Lt. Rick Given says someone called police Thursday and said the men stole a U-Haul and fired at least two shots at someone trying to stop them. The man wasn't hurt, but the gunshots hit and disabled his vehicle.

Given says officers caught up to the U-Haul in downtown Las Vegas, but the driver didn't stop for the officers.

Police chased the stolen van and were eventually able to stop it. Officers say two people were taken into custody.
