Police: Missouri man kills father, 75, in domestic dispute

GRANDVIEW, Mo. - A Missouri man is charged with second degree murder after officers found his father unresponsive at their home on Saturday night, reports CBS affiliate KCTV.

Kyle Webb, 44, told police that he and his father, 75-year-old Franklin Webb, had gotten into a fight about who would clean up a leaky pipe at their home. Kyle Webb said that his father fell down and that he laid on top of him to restrain him, until he became unconscious.

Franklin Webb was found unresponsive, according to the station. He was taken by ambulance to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

It was not clear Sunday whether Kyle Webb had an attorney, the station reported.
