Police respond to fatal shooting at Norman HealthPlex in Okla.
NORMAN, Okla. -- A man and woman are confirmed dead in an apparent murder-suicide in the parking lot of the Norman HealthPlex, Friday afternoon, according to CBS affiliate News 9.
Police responded to the scene at the hospital, located near I-35 and Tecumseh Rd., just before 2:30 p.m.
According to reports, the man is believed to have shot a woman in the parking lot of the hospital before shooting himself. Both were taken into the hospital for treatment, but soon succumbed to their injuries, says the station.
So far, police have not identified the deceased. Their relationship to each other is also unknown.
The case remains under investigation.
