Police: Report of sex in car leads to principal and student

PALM SPRINGS, Fla. -- A Florida principal was arrested after she was caught in a car partially undressed with a student, reports CBS affiliate WKMG.

Krista Morton, the principal of the charter school Mavericks High of Palm Springs, was arrested Wednesday.

Police responded to a report of people involved in sexual activity in a car and found Morton, 45, and an 18-year-old male.

When Morton opened the door, her shirt was unbuttoned, exposing part of her chest, police said.

Morton told police she had just met the teenager, but the student said she was his principal, according to police.

Morton and the student were arrested.

She faces charges related to possession of marijuana.
