Police release video of women suspected of robbing NBA player

NEW YORK-- Police on Wednesday released surveillance video of two women accused of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars' worth of personal items from New York Knicks forward Derrick Williams.

Sources told CBS New York that Williams, 24, met the women while out with his friends at the Up & Down club around 5:20 a.m. Saturday. The women went back to Williams' apartment later that morning, sources say. Williams' roommate was also with them, the sources said.

The women were at Williams' apartment for about an hour and a half before leaving, police said.

Later that day, Williams noticed numerous personal items and jewelry valued at about $617,000 missing from his bedroom, police said. Sources said a Louis Vuitton backpack was also taken, and the total value of the stolen items was about $750,000.

Police late Wednesday released surveillance video of the two women at the nightclub.
