Cops: Puzzle box sent from the Netherlands contained Ecstasy

RIVERSIDE, Calif. -- Police were in ecstasy after finding over a thousand pills of the synthetic drug in a puzzle box, acting on a tip from federal law enforcement.

Detectives searching a California home found a puzzle package containing ecstasy pills that were sent through the mail from the Netherlands, according to CBS Los Angeles. Police were reportedly acting on a tip from the Department of Homeland Security.

The package was delivered to the home near U.C. Riverside, where police identified 21-year-old Sung Hee Jeong as a suspect, according to CBS Los Angeles.

After police further searched the home, they say they found other drugs -- including more ecstasy and Xanax pills -- with a reported estimated street value of $23,250.

Sung was booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance for sale, and is expected to appear in court on Friday, according to the station.
