Police: Woman attacked boyfriend with box cutter over unpaid bill

HOMEWOOD, Pa. -- Police say a Pennsylvania woman repeatedly slashed her boyfriend with a box cutter after an argument about an unpaid bill, reports CBS Pittsburgh.

The victim told police he was woken up Saturday night by girlfriend Tracie Billings, who he said began arguing with him about the bill. The fight ended when Billings allegedly grabbed the blade and cut the victim on his left hand, right arm and neck, according to police.

The victim fled the home and called his grandmother, who brought him to a hospital where he had emergency surgery.

Police said they recovered the box cutter, and Billings has been charged with attempted homicide and aggravated assault.
