Too fast on Facebook: Man posted videos of driving 160 mph, cops say

PORTAGE, Mich. - Police say a southwestern Michigan man could face charges after posting videos of himself on Facebook driving up to 160 mph.

CBS affiliate WWMT aired some of the videos of Mark Whittaker driving on U.S. highway 131. Michigan State Police Lt. Dale Hinz says Whittaker put the public in danger. And Hinz says it's brazen for the videos to be posted online.

Whittaker recorded himself at times driving with his knees, authorities say. Police went to Whittaker's home in Portage, where Hinz says: "He really had no excuse other than he likes to drive fast."

The case is being turned over to the Kalamazoo County prosecutor's office.
