Police investigate triple homicide at New Mexico home

DIXON, N.M. — Authorities in northern New Mexico are investigating a triple homicide at a residence in Dixon.

The New Mexico State Police says three dead bodies were found Wednesday night inside the residence and that investigators report the deaths were homicides.

A statement released by Lt. Elizabeth Armijo says the investigation is in very preliminary stages and that no information will be released immediately about the victims 'identities or the causes of death to avoid compromising the investigation.

Armijo says a State Police crime-scene team is at the residence collecting evidence while agents are conducting other parts of the investigation.

Dixon is 36 miles north of Santa Fe.
