Police find burning body in New York parking lot

HUNTINGTON, N.Y. - Long Island police are now investigating a burning body that was found in the parking lot of a shopping center in Suffolk County, reports CBS New York.

The body was found around 11 p.m. Wednesday between two cars outside a supermarket, according to police.

The station reports that both police and the arson squad are looking into the situation. The identity of the victim has not been determined and the circumstances of the death are still unclear.
