Police arrest person of interest in Colo. triple homicide

CANON CITY, Colo. - Police are investigating a triple homicide at a home in Canon City in central Colorado on Sunday night, reports CBS affiliate KKTV.

Officers arrived at the residence around 8 p.m. Sunday night, according to police in Canon City, about 120 miles south of Denver. Authorities say that a teenage female reported a sexual assault.

Upon arriving at the home, police discovered three bodies. They also located and arrested a person of interest at the residence, police said.

Authorities told KKTV that there is no further danger to the public. Additional information was expected to be released at a Monday news conference in Canon City.
