1 dead, 1 wounded in attempted murder-suicide at N.J. business
MOORESTOWN, N.J. -- Police say that one person is dead and another was hospitalized after an attempted murder-suicide at a South Jersey business, reports CBS Philly.
The shooting happened around 7 a.m. Monday at Shields Business Solutions in Moorestown, N.J., reports the station. Investigators say that the incident began as a type of altercation between two employees inside the building.
The dispute eventually ended up outside and one off the employees pulled out a gun and shot the second employee several times. After shooting his co-worker, investigators say that he turned the gun on himself. The shooter was pronounced dead, police told reporters
The shooting victim was rushed to Cooper University Hospital, where they are listed in critical condition, according to CBS Philly.
At Shields Business Solutions -- a ATM repair business -- the technicians are usually armed, but police say that the weapons are usually checked at the door.
The exact circumstances surrounding the deadly incident were not immediately known, reports the station. The shooting remains under investigation.
