"Point Break" remake debuts first trailer

"Point Break" is heading back to the big screen.

The first trailer was released Tuesday for a new take on the Kathryn Bigelow-directed 1991 classic starring Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze, coming to theaters later this year.

This time, Luke Bracey stars as Johnny Utah, a young FBI agent who infiltrates a group of thrill-seeking elite athletes -- led by Bodhi (Edgar Ramirez) -- suspected of carrying out a string of elaborate crimes. Crimes like, for example, skydiving out of a plane with a stolen block of money, then cutting the cords and letting the cash rain down on the people below.

Expect lots of action and extreme sports when "Point Break," directed by Ericson Core, opens in limited release on Christmas Day.
