New York-bound flight carries just two passengers
On a plane that can carry dozens of passengers, Delta Air Lines flight 6259 carried only two people from Cleveland to New York on Monday, due to hours of delays.
It started with one passenger, Chris O'Leary whose initial flight got canceled and was re-booked to another flight. But when his second flight got delayed, he tweeted:
Looks like I'm getting home 6 hours late, missing almost a fill day of work. I'm sure @delta's doing all they can, but this still sucks.

Hours later, he finally boarded the plane and was surprised to find out he was the only one on board. He documented his experience, tweeting:
They rebooked everyone but me on another flight to LGA, so I am literally the only person on this plane. pic.twitter.com/ZZNPACUOfR

O'Leary thought he was flying solo but the Delta plane ended up going back to the gate to pick up a second passenger.
The thrill is gone, you guys. Just as we were about to push back, they reconnected the jet bridge to let a second passenger on the flight. 😥

O'Leary was originally supposed to arrive at LaGuardia airport at 11:19am Monday but he ended up arriving hours later at 3:29pm.
