Plane crash kills 4 outside Cleveland

WILLOUGHBY HILLS, Ohio -- Police say a plane crashed shortly after takeoff at a regional airport, killing four people about 15 miles northeast of Cleveland.

CBS Cleveland affiliate WOIO-TV reports the plane crashed around 10 p.m. Monday after taking off from the Cuyahoga County Airport.

The station says the plane was engulfed in flames when rescue crews arrived.

It was not immediately known where the plane was headed. The names of those on board were not available.
