Man cited in Las Vegas Ferris wheel sex case slain in Texas

HOUSTON -- Houston police say two men are charged with killing a Texan who recently was cited for having sex on a Ferris wheel in Las Vegas.

The suspects were being held Monday on capital murder charges in the fatal shooting of Phillip Frank Panzica of Houston.

Bryant Christopher Watts and Aaron Jones were captured in Concho County, 300 miles away, in a car belonging to Panzica's fiancée. The Dallas-area men were held without bond in the Menard County jail.

Houston police seek a motive for Saturday's slaying. Witnesses told police that Panzica earlier was with Jones at an adult entertainment club where the fiancée works.

Panzica and a New York woman were arrested Feb. 5 on charges of committing sex acts in public on the High Roller in Las Vegas.
