Phila. teens charged in fatal shooting of food deliveryman

PHILADELPHIA -- Two teens now face charges in connection with a shooting death of a food delivery driver in northeast Philadelphia, according to CBS Philly.

Police say that 14-year-old Sahmir Walker is charged with several charges such as murder, robbery and criminal conspiracy while 15-year-old Tyquail Duffy has been charged with numerous charges including aggravated assault and intimidation.

The two teens are the suspects in the fatal shooting of 49-year old Rendong Zheng last Thursday during an attempted robbery, while the victim was delivering food at a Crescentville apartment, reports the station.

Police say the victim sustained a gunshot wound, but drove a short distance and crashed.

Police then rushed him to Einstein Medical Center, but Zheng was pronounced dead a short time later, according to earlier reports.

According to police, the two suspects are being charged as adults.
