Philadelphia DA charges man in 2014 triple homicide
PHILADELPHIA - A man has been charged in the brutal execution style murders of three Philadelphia men in February 2014, reports CBS Philly.
The Philadelphia District Attorney's office announced Thursday that 25-year-old Quadir Jeffries has been charged with homicide, robbery and other counts in connection with what prosecutors say was a robbery that went awry.
Keurlin Charles, Brian Williams and Vagner Freemont were murdered Feb. 13, 2014, inside a home in the Crescentville section of the city.
Cameron Kline, a spokesman for the district attorney, said a grand jury examined evidence in the case.
"There was cell phone evidence, there was a bank card and there was some ballistic evidence that all came together to build our case," reports Kline.
Jeffries remains incarcerated for an unrelated crime, prosecutors said.
