Person of interest sought in "suspicious" disappearance of Fla. nanny Jennifer Fulford

WINTER PARK, Fla. -- Police in Florida have released a photo of a person of interest in the disappearance of an Altamonte Springs nanny, reports CBS affiliate WKMG.

Winter Park Police say 56-year-old Jennifer Lynn Fulford, a mother and grandmother, vanished Wednesday under "suspicious circumstances."

Fulford was last seen on surveillance video leaving her dentist's office in Winter Park at 11:40 a.m. Wednesday.  Fulford, who works as a nanny, reportedly didn't pick up her client's child from school that afternoon, which family says is odd behavior because she's never late.

"She never picked him up from school, and I haven't heard from her since. I can't get her on her cellphone. Her phone is off. She's not answering texts," her husband Robert Fulford told WKMG. "She's the nicest lady, most responsible lady on the planet, and it's just not like her to disappear."

Robert Fulford said that when her employer returned home, he found her purse on the bathroom floor, but her phone, keys and wallet were missing.

Police on Thursday released surveillance images of a man they're calling a person of interest in the case, and asked for the public's help in identifying him. Police say the images show the man accessing Fulford's bank account at an ATM.

Winter Park police say Fulford's gray 2015 Hyundai SUV was found Thursday, but police are still searching for Fulford. WKMG reports police wouldn't say where the vehicle was discovered. Investigators say they're processing the car for forensic evidence.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Winter Park Police Department at 407-644-1313 or Crimeline at 407-423-TIPS.
